SEND and Inclusion
Inclusion is at the heart of Lincroft Academy. It begins in our planning and structures before students arrive, and we continuously aim to layer our routines and practice so that inclusion becomes instinct.
Inclusion can be seen through the five Meridian values, the PLEDGES scheme and Our Vertical Tutoring and House System, through the adaptation of learning in our classrooms and the support students receive through our pastoral system.
We have recently created distinct areas within the school to support inclusion at every level, from the classroom and tutor bases, through House areas and House offices, to the designated Inclusion rooms. These enable us to deliver a graduated response to make sure we meet the wide range of needs of our students, at the right level, so that all our students have the best chance of fulfilling their potential at Lincroft.
